Low Sodium Brownies for a Crowd
Brownies are a crowd-pleasing favorite. Who can say no? Even better when the brownies are homemade and low in sodium to be a little more heart-healthy.
Ingredients:
- 3/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 1/2 cups sugar
- 1 1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
- 3 eggs
- 1/2 cup cocoa
- 3/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 tsp. sodium-free baking powder
- 1 cup chocolate chips
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 350°F.
- Beat butter, sugar, vanilla and eggs in a large bowl.
- Mix in cocoa, flour and baking powder.
- Stir to combine.
- Stir in chocolate chips.
- Pour into greased 9x13-inch baking pan.
- Bake at 350°F for 20-22 minutes.
Let cool before cutting into 2-inch squares.
