Classic Beef Stew

Look forward to a satisfying burst of savory flavors from our classic beef stew recipe.

Ingredients:

  • 2 lbs beef chuck, trimmed and cubed
  • 1 lbs pasta
  • 2 ½ cups carrots, peeled and sliced
  • 2 cups low-sodium beef broth
  • 2 cups no-salt-added stewed tomatoes
  • 1 tsp dried parsley
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • 1 onion, quartered

Directions:

  1. Mix tomatoes, broth and spices.
  2. Place vegetables and beef in a roasting pan.
  3. Add in the broth mixture.
  4. Roast covered at 325 degrees Fahrenheit until meat is very tender. It may take between 2 to 2½ hours.
  5. Serve over pasta.
